Faith Surges at 'Beri Wali Mata Mahotsav'; Devotees Immersed in Devotion
Ranchi: The 'Beri Wali Mata Mahotsav' (Festival of Beri Wali Mata) was celebrated amidst an atmosphere of deep reverence and devotion at the Shri Radha Krishna Pranami Temple in Pundag, Ranchi. The festivities commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the sacred lamp (Devi Jyot) and the recitation of the 'Mahamangal Mahima Path.' Through her soulful narration, spiritual orator Madhu Kedia immersed the devotees in a blissful stream of devotion, while the accompanying 'Chunari and Gajra Utsav' (Festival of Sacred Scarves and Floral Garlands) further imbued the surroundings with a devotional spirit.
During the *Bhajan Sandhya* (Evening of Devotional Songs), devotees swayed in spiritual ecstasy to the melodious hymns rendered by Arun Kedia and Manish Soni. Shankar Lal Shastri conducted the worship rituals in strict accordance with traditional rites. Women participated with great enthusiasm in the *Mehndi*, *Chunari*, and *Gajra* festivities.
The offering of *Chhappan Bhog* (a grand offering of 56 food items) and the subsequent distribution of *Mahaprasad* (sacred food) captivated the hearts of all present. The entire event was organized and managed by Vidya Devi and her family, and witnessed the presence of a large congregation of devotees.
