During the 'Panchayat Kar Goith' program held in Lohardaga under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tarachand, significant directives were issued regarding agriculture, health, and social issues. He stated that farmers enrolled in the crop insurance scheme should register their complaints regarding crop damage caused by rainfall on the toll-free number 14447 to avail of the benefits.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to everyone to take the deworming medication as part of the Filaria Eradication Campaign, which is ongoing until March 25. Expressing gratitude for the peaceful observance of Sarhul and Eid, he urged the public to maintain mutual harmony during the upcoming Ram Navami celebrations as well.
He issued directives to ensure the regular functioning of Anganwadi centers, to guarantee proper nutrition for children, and to spread awareness against the practices of witch-hunting and child marriage. Several government officials and public representatives participated in the program.
