Training given to Municipal Council Election Candidates
Lohardaga: On Monday, a training program on election expenditure management was organized for candidates for the 2026 Municipal (General) Elections at the Municipal Building.
During the training, Expenditure Observer Sanjay Kujur and Additional Collector Jitendra Munda informed the candidates about the State Election Commission's directives. It was stated that the expenditure limit for the post of President is ₹6 lakh and for the post of Councilor is ₹1.5 lakh. Officials directed the submission of expenditure statements on time and strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct. The district's static surveillance team's vigilance and monitoring were also discussed.
