Jharkhand Chamber expresses concern over Chutupali Valley accidents and Gumla bypass delays
Ranchi: The Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce meeting held a serious discussion on road safety and traffic management. Expressing concern over the increasing number of accidents in the Chutupali Valley section of the Ramgarh-Ranchi National Highway, President Aditya Malhotra cited poor road infrastructure, sharp turns, and a lack of signage and streetlights as reasons. The Chamber sent a letter to the NHAI and the district administration, demanding increased safety measures.
Displeasure was also expressed over the delay in the construction of the Gumla bypass, and a request was made to expedite the work. A demand was also raised for the construction of a traffic police station to address traffic congestion. Several officials, including Praveen Lohiya and Rohit Agarwal, were present at the meeting.
