Tribute to Babasaheb in London on Republic Day by Chief Minister Hemant Soren


London/Ranchi, January 26

On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to at his historic residence in , where he was awarded the Bharat Ratna. Describing the visit as a deeply emotional and inspiring moment of his life, the Chief Minister reflected on Babasaheb’s enduring legacy.


The Chief Minister said that Babasaheb’s farsighted vision and ideology played a crucial role in shaping India—despite its vast diversity—into a strong, democratic, and inclusive nation. He emphasized that the principles of social justice, equality, and rights championed by Babasaheb continue to guide the country even today.


He further stated that through the Constitution, Dr. Ambedkar ensured dignity, respect, and equal opportunities for every citizen. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also recorded his thoughts in the guest book.


Present during the event were his spouse , Chief Secretary , and officials of the Ambedkar Museum.
