The SSP further instructed that even minor scuffles or disputes inside bars must be immediately reported to the concerned local police station. The primary objective of the police is to ensure that conflicts originating inside bars do not spill over onto public roads and cause inconvenience to common citizens.
Bar owners were also warned that strict legal action would be taken against those found violating the issued guidelines. The police administration appealed to all bar operators to cooperate fully in maintaining law and order in the city.
