Ranchi: Under the directives of DC Manjunath Bhajantri, DDC Saurabh Kumar Bhuwania chaired a crucial virtual meeting to implement the Sponsorship Care Plan. The scheme aims to uplift children under 18 from families with an annual income below ₹75,000. It specifically targets orphans, children of specially-abled parents, and victims of child labor or trafficking.
During the meeting, the DDC instructed all Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Circle Officers (COs) to identify at least 10 eligible children from each block. The finalized list must be submitted by January 31, 2026. This initiative by the Jharkhand government will provide essential financial aid for the education, nutrition, and medical needs of vulnerable children, ensuring a brighter future for them.
