🚀 Ranchi Aims for Double Speed Work: DC Bhajantri Sets Goals for 2026

Review of Public Welfare Schemes, Over 8000 Complaints Disposed via Abua Saathi Portal; Discipline Mandatory in Offices

Ranchi: Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Manjunath Bhajantri, gave clear instructions to work at "double speed" at the start of the new year 2026 during a meeting with senior district-level officials. In this important meeting held on Friday, January 02, 2026, the DC tasked all departments to ensure hundred percent execution of responsibilities assigned by the State Government with coordination.

Benefits of Schemes Must Reach the Last Person

DC Bhajantri emphasized that the benefits of all public welfare schemes, including the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana, must reach the last eligible person in the district in a time-bound manner. To maintain transparency in schemes, he directed the continuous work of deleting Aadhaar and bank account duplicates.

Expediting Complaint Redressal

 * Abua Saathi Portal: Reviewing complaints received on the portal, it was informed that out of a total of 9600 complaints received in 2025, more than 8000 have been successfully resolved. The DC directed officials for the swift disposal of the remaining complaints.

 * Janata Darbar: He also instructed that the investigation reports for every complaint received in the Janata Darbar (Public Hearing) must be provided on time to ensure quick and quality disposal as per rules.

Focus on Discipline and Security Arrangements

The DC instructed all office heads to maintain discipline. All subordinate employees must mandatorily wear name plates and identification cards (I-cards). Additionally, special attention was directed towards cleanliness at workplaces and within the Collectorate premises.

Reviewing Law and Order, the ADM Law and Order was instructed to ensure the active participation of youth and women in the Peace Committee. Directions were also given to strengthen the continuous monitoring system through CCTV cameras to enhance security within the Collectorate premises.

The DC called upon all officials to work with a team spirit to take Ranchi district to new heights in the fields of development and public service.
