National Road Safety Month–2026: ‘Alert Driver, Safe Life’ Awareness Program Held at Hindalco

As part of National Road Safety Month–2026, a series of awareness programmes are being organized across Lohardaga district. On the seventh day of the campaign, a special awareness programme titled “Alert Driver, Safe Life” was conducted at .
During the programme, vehicle drivers present at the Hindalco premises were made aware of road safety rules and the importance of cautious and responsible driving. Information was also shared about the Rahveer Scheme and the compensation provided under Hit and Run cases.
A large number of Hindalco truck drivers participated in the programme. Speakers emphasized strict adherence to traffic rules, avoiding overspeeding and negligent driving, and adopting safe driving practices to protect not only their own lives but also the lives of others on the road.
The programme aimed to reduce road accidents through awareness and to encourage drivers to become responsible and safety-conscious road users, in line with this year’s theme:
“Safety through Learning, Transformation through Technology – Road Safety, Life Protection.”
