Ranchi, January 26: On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate of Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, hoisted the national flag at the Deputy Commissioner’s residence. On this occasion, he unfurled the tricolour along with the national anthem and expressed his dedication and commitment to the nation.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner said that Republic Day symbolizes the historic adoption of the Constitution of India, which reminds us of the core values of democracy, equality, freedom, and justice. He appealed to the citizens of Ranchi to follow the ideals of the Constitution and actively contribute to building a strong, prosperous, and inclusive India.
The programme was attended by the Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Officers, and several other officers and employees of the district administration. At the end, the Deputy Commissioner extended warm Republic Day greetings to all residents of the district.
