Ranchi | The birth anniversary of Dishom Guru will be observed this year as an education-focused interaction programme. On this occasion, a dialogue programme based on the Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme will be organised on 11 January 2026 at . During the programme, will directly interact with students studying in Classes 10 to 12 across the state and inform them about the benefits of the scheme.
In preparation for the event, an administrative review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ranchi Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri. The meeting reviewed the event blueprint, departmental responsibilities, and essential facilities. The Deputy Commissioner stated that the programme reflects the state government’s commitment to empowering students financially for higher education.
He directed officials to ensure robust arrangements at the venue, including security, traffic and parking management, stage and pandal construction, seating arrangements, drinking water, sanitation, toilets, uninterrupted power supply, fire safety, medical facilities, and emergency services. Special emphasis was laid on ensuring smooth entry and exit arrangements for students, keeping their convenience as the top priority.
The Deputy Commissioner also instructed that the registration process be simple and transparent, and that all necessary documents and information related to the scheme be prepared in advance. All departments were directed to work in close coordination and complete preparations on time to ensure the programme is successful and memorable.
