Ranchi | The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jharkhand unit, has announced the names of newly elected district presidents for 23 organizational districts under its ongoing organizational drive. The official list was released by the state election officer, party general secretary and Member of Parliament .
Dr. Verma stated that following the completion of the Assembly elections, the party launched its organizational festival to strengthen the cadre base. After concluding the primary and active membership drive, elections were conducted at the mandal and district levels. As part of this process, elections for district presidents in 23 organizational districts have now been completed. The election process in the remaining districts is underway and their results will be announced soon.
Focus on Women Empowerment and Social Representation
The BJP has given special emphasis to women empowerment in the organizational structure. Out of the 23 declared district presidents, three are women. Among the newly elected leaders, four belong to the Scheduled Tribe category and one belongs to the Scheduled Caste category. Notably, eight district presidents have been re-elected.
Organizational Restructuring
To strengthen the party’s organizational framework, Ranchi Rural district has been divided into two new organizational districts—Ranchi East and Ranchi West. Similarly, Chakradharpur and Giridih Rural have been created as new organizational districts.
