📞 Toll-Free Number 15100 for Free Legal Aid: DALSA Sets Up Awareness Stall in Tupudana

Ranchi: As per the directions of JHALSA (Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority), a successful two-day Legal Awareness Program was organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DALSA), Ranchi, at the Santosh B.Ed College premises in Tupudana. The program, conducted under the supervision of the Nyayadhish-cum-Chairman and DALSA Secretary Rakesh Roshan, primarily aimed to ensure that the general public benefits from NALSA's schemes.

🤝 Special Focus on Four NALSA Schemes

During the program, Legal Aid Defense Counsel (LADC) Member Rajesh Kumar Sinha provided detailed information about significant schemes run by NALSA (National Legal Services Authority), such as 'Dawn', 'Saathi', 'Asha', and 'Jagriti'. He assured the attendees:

"The PLVs (Para Legal Volunteers) of the District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi, are appointed in schools, colleges, and hospitals. You can contact them to avail free legal services. We will ensure that all needy people benefit from NALSA schemes."

🚫 Warning Against Drug Abuse

Sinha specifically addressed the youth, advising them to stay away from drugs. He clarified that addiction is a serious problem that harms an individual's body, mind, and wealth.

⚖️ Information on Mediation and Lok Adalat

The DALSA PLVs present also spread awareness about the legal aspects of Lok Adalat, Mediation, and other beneficial schemes offered by the government.

At the end of the program, leaflets and pamphlets were distributed by the PLVs. Rajesh Kumar Sinha also shared information about the toll-free number 15100 for legal aid, which people can use to seek assistance at any time.

LADC Member Rajesh Kumar Sinha, PLVs Namita Kumari, Suraj Munda, Sanjay Oraon, Rishabh Jaiswal, Raja Verma, and others were present on this occasion.
