Tight Security Arrangements for Jharkhand Foundation Day Main Event

Extensive security arrangements have been made for the main event of Jharkhand Foundation Day to be held at Morabadi grounds on November 15. The Ranchi district administration and Jharkhand Police have completed preparations to ensure a safe and incident-free celebration.
Over 1,000 Additional Personnel Deployed
Jharkhand Police spokesperson and IG (Operations) Dr. Michael Raj informed that more than 1,000 additional police personnel will be deployed across the city for security.
Although the main ceremony will take place in the afternoon, security forces will be on duty from 6 AM.
Senior Officers on Special Duty
The following officials will oversee security arrangements:
- 3 IPS officers
- 6 DSPs
- 40 Inspectors
- 80 Sub-Inspectors
Special units including JAP, ATS, Bomb Disposal Squad, and Jharkhand Jaguar have also been deployed.
Three-Layer Security at the Main Venue
Security at the Morabadi venue has been divided into three layers:
- Outer Perimeter Security
- Middle Security Layer
- Main Stage & VIP Zone Security
Drone & CCTV Surveillance
To monitor the entire city and event venue:
- CCTV cameras have been installed around the grounds
- Drones will conduct aerial surveillance
- A dedicated control room has been set up with senior officers
Officers have been instructed to send real-time updates to higher authorities.
Strict Checking of All Vehicles & Visitors
All vehicles entering the venue will be thoroughly checked.
Visitors will be screened through:
- Walk-through metal detectors
- Hand-held metal scanners
- Full security frisking
Plain-clothes police personnel will also be deployed at the venue.
Top Dignitaries to Attend
The main ceremony will be attended by:
- The Governor
- The Chief Minister
- Ministers
- MPs and MLAs
- Senior state officials
