Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the people of Jharkhand on the occasion of the state’s 25th Foundation Day. He also paid homage to the legendary freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his 150th birth anniversary, remembering his extraordinary contribution to the nation.

In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister wrote,
“Heartiest greetings to all residents of Jharkhand, a glorious state enriched with tribal culture, on its Foundation Day. The history of this land of Bhagwan Birsa Munda is filled with inspiring tales of courage, struggle and self-respect. On this special occasion, I pray for the continued progress and prosperity of all families in the state.”
Tribute to Birsa Munda on His 150th Birth Anniversary
In another post, Prime Minister Modi remembered Bhagwan Birsa Munda on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary, observed as Tribal Pride Day across the country.
He wrote, “On this sacred occasion of Tribal Pride Day, the entire nation recalls with reverence the incomparable contribution of Bhagwan Birsa Munda to safeguarding the honour of our motherland. His struggle and sacrifice against the injustice of foreign rule will continue to inspire generations.”
