Hemant Government on the Path of Development and Transparency, BJP Busy Spreading Confusion: Vinod Pandey

Jharkhand/Ranchi (M Bharat 24 News Live): The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has termed the recent allegations made by BJP State President and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi as completely baseless and misleading. JMM Central General Secretary Vinod Pandey said that BJP leaders cannot tolerate Jharkhand’s steady progress, and therefore, they continue to spread lies and create confusion among the people.

Pandey stated that Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s government is working with a clear commitment to public welfare, transparency, and social justice. He said the BJP’s only agenda is to divert public attention by weaving false stories, but the people of Jharkhand now clearly know who is working for them and who is merely engaged in rhetoric.

The JMM spokesperson further said that when the BJP was in power, it praised the same officers it now calls “biased.” He added that the police force works under the oath of the Constitution, not any political party, and any action taken is based on evidence and due legal process. Calling BJP’s allegations opportunistic politics, Pandey accused the party of labeling every legal action against influential people as “political vendetta” to mislead the public.

Speaking on administrative appointments, Pandey clarified that transfers and postings in the Forest Department are made purely based on administrative needs and efficiency. Assigning additional responsibilities to an officer does not mean irregularity; it ensures continuity in governance. He said the BJP cannot digest the state’s achievements in increasing forest cover, eco-tourism, and green development, which is why it is trying to tarnish the image of departments and officers.

The JMM leader also accused the BJP of trying to demoralize the police force. He explained that the process of awarding police medals is based on recommendations from the Home Department and Police Headquarters, and the Chief Minister has no direct interference in it. Making political statements over such issues, he said, is inappropriate and insensitive, as it insults the dedication of hardworking police personnel.

Concluding his statement, Vinod Pandey said that the BJP is more focused on creating media controversies than contributing to the state’s development. Whenever the Hemant government takes concrete decisions in the interest of the people, the BJP starts making baseless accusations. However, the public is no longer confused. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Jharkhand is moving steadily toward self-reliance, green development, and social justice.
