Chief Minister Inaugurates Newly Built Electricity General Manager Office
East Singhbhum, 15 November:
Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Electricity General Manager and Circle Office located in the Uliyan Power Sub-Station campus at Kadma. The inauguration was conducted through an online ceremony.
New Facility to Offer All Power Services Under One Roof
MLA Saryu Roy was present during the programme. With the operation of the new office, electricity consumers will now be able to access all essential services in a single campus, ensuring better efficiency and ease of service.
Modern Building Replaces Old Rented Structure
General Manager Ajit Kumar informed that the previous office in Bistupur was being operated from an old, rented and dilapidated building, which caused several difficulties for both consumers and employees.
He added that the foundation stone for the new structure was laid in 2024 by former Health Minister Banna Gupta. The modern facility, built at a cost of ₹2.48 crore, is now fully functional and ready to serve the public.
