Chief Minister Inaugurates New Biodiversity Park in Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh, 15 November:

On the occasion of Jharkhand Foundation Day, Hazaribagh received a new Biodiversity Park, located beside the Kanahari Hills. Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the park online from Ranchi on Saturday, after which it was opened for the public. Spread across nearly 6 hectares, the park has been developed under a joint initiative of the Jharkhand Government and the District Forest Department.

Park Aims to Promote Nature Awareness and Ecological Conservation

The park has been established with the objective of connecting people with nature, increasing awareness about biodiversity conservation, and offering citizens a peaceful natural environment.

MP Manish Jaiswal expressed gratitude to the state government for this project, stating that the park will strengthen the district’s identity. He also urged citizens to contribute to maintaining cleanliness and protecting the park

DFO Highlights Ecological Importance of the Park

DFO Vikas Kumar Ujjal said that the introduction of the Biodiversity Park on Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary and Statehood Day holds special significance for the district.

He informed that various plant species have been planted across the park, which will help strengthen the local ecosystem in the coming years. The DFO appealed to people not to damage the park and to take responsibility for environmental protection.

Public Welcomes the Initiative

After the inauguration, visitors appreciated the park’s design and purpose. They thanked the state government, district administration and forest department for the initiative.

Local residents believe that the new Biodiversity Park will become an important landmark for Hazaribagh and will boost tourism in the region.
