Mudma Fair is a symbol of maintaining the spirit of brotherhood: Minister

 

Jharkhand/Ranchi: The historic two-day Raji Padaha Mudma Fair in Mandar began on Wednesday with traditional rites and religious ceremonies.

Led by religious leader Bandhan Tikka, devotees and villagers from across the country participated in this historic event, offering prayers and water at the Shakti Khunta site.

On this occasion, Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of Jatra, saying that Mudma is a historic site that symbolizes the union and integration of the Munda and Oraon communities. This Jatra is not just a festival but also a symbol of maintaining ancestral identity, collective unity, unity, and brotherhood. She said that when the Oraon community arrived in Jharkhand from Rohtasgarh, the Munda community helped them settle here.

This Jatra still vividly represents this traditional example of unity and cooperation.

Minister Tirkey stated that our culture, civilization, and tradition are unique. The government will continue to make positive efforts to maintain the faith and reputation of the State Mudma Jatra.

Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey stated that India is a country of diversity, where lifestyles, food habits, and language change even within a short distance. This is our identity, and this Mudma Jatra is a moment of pride for us.
