Jharkhand/Ranchi: The Hemant government is concerned about the security of churches, but not about religious sites like Sarna Masana, Zahir Than, Manjhi Than, temples, and Gurudwaras: Babulal Marandi
The Hemant government is protecting and promoting conversion rackets
BJP State President and Leader of the Opposition, Babulal Marandi, today launched a major attack on the Hemant government. Mr. Marandi strongly reacted to a meeting held by the Simdega district administration regarding church security.
Mr. Marandi said that in the past few years, incidents of occupation and encroachment of Santhal lands belonging to Zahir Than and Manjhi Than have occurred in many places in Jharkhand, and disputes have arisen, and this continues. People are forced to protest and protest against the encroachment of tribal Sarna sites, Masana sites, and Hadgadi lands and demand security. Temples in Jharkhand have been attacked. Bombs have been thrown at temples, stones pelted at other places, and idols of deities have been vandalized at other places. But has the state government ever held a meeting with the religious leaders of those communities regarding their safety? The answer is no!
It was stated that the DC, SP, and administrative officials themselves are going to meet with Christian religious leaders to ensure the security of the church in Simdega. Why is the church alone in need of special security? Is this a preparation to provide protection to the conversion gangs that are converting innocent tribals in the name of "healing meetings"?
It was stated that due to the church's conspiracy, the actions of such "church-loving" officials, and the promotion of superstitious beliefs like healing meetings, approximately 51% of the population in Simdega has converted to Christianity today. Consequently, people are suspicious of the motive behind this government-sponsored meeting.
It was stated that if Chief Minister Hemant Soren has to ensure security, why only for the church? Why is there no concern for the security of Sarna, Masna, Hadgadi sites, Zahir Than, Manjhi Than, temples, mosques, and gurudwaras? The main agenda of the meeting in Simdega should be made public, or representatives of all religions and communities should be invited to discuss the security of their religious sites.
