Dhanbad in Jharkhand recorded the highest rainfall of 208 mm

Jharkhand/Ranchi: Rajdah in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district recorded the highest rainfall of 208.4 mm in the last 24 hours, the Meteorological Department said on Friday.

Heavy rainfall was recorded in places in Jharkhand including Nandadih (140 mm), Karmatand (139 mm), Siktia (113.2 mm), Giridih (112.6 mm), Narayanpur (104 mm), Chandwa (90.8 mm), Lohardaga (89 mm), Silichak (85.5 mm), Dumka (82.3 mm), Badkisuraiya (80 mm), Govindpur Division (79.2 mm), Jamtara (73.4 mm), Dumri (70.4 mm), Jamtara (67.2 mm), Palamu (65.5 mm), Tilaiya DVC (58 mm), Rajdhanwar (54.4 mm), Nawadih (53 mm), Sujani (47.5 mm), and Hazaribagh (31.5 mm).
