Jharkhand/Ranchi: As per the JHALSA calendar, today, September 26, 2025, DALSA Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar held a meeting with approximately 100 working PLVs in the Conference Hall, Ranchi. DLSA Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar first congratulated all PLVs on Durga Puja and discussed the Peace Walk on November 2nd to commemorate the creation of a drug-free India under the NALSA scheme. The work done by the PLVs present at the meeting was reviewed, and several guidelines were given to all working PLVs as part of the capacity building program.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar urged all PLVs to provide adequate information about NALSA and JHALSA schemes to villagers and helpless people in villages, towns, and neighborhoods. He further stated that people should be informed about the Saathi, Asha, Jagriti, and Don schemes. Only when people are aware will they benefit from these schemes. He further stated that if you identify a destitute child under the Saathi campaign, provide them with appropriate assistance and inform the DLSA office.
Mr. Bhaskar stated that we all must be vigilant and conduct awareness campaigns against drug abuse in every street and neighborhood, so that villagers and children understand the ill effects of drug abuse and keep their families and children away from any kind of drug. Identify victimized women who have not received compensation. Submit their applications to the DALSA office and assist beneficiaries in receiving compensation. Inform the needy about the District Legal Services Authority and explain in detail the government's beneficial schemes so that the poor can benefit.
Finally, DLSA Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar addressed all PLVs. He also observed the work done by them and gave them several guidelines to work well in their area.
All the working PLVs of District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi including DLSA Secretary Ravi Kumar Bhaskar were present in the meeting.
