Giridih Police Returned Mobile Phones to 100 People

Jharkhand/Giridih: Police distributed 100 stolen, lost, and stolen mobile phones to the public on Wednesday. The police returned them under a special program, "Your Mobile is Back to You." SP Dr. Vimal Kumar, along with DC Ramniwas Yadav, returned the phones to the people. During the program held at the New Collectorate, people from women to the elderly came to retrieve their lost mobile phones. The DC also remarked that mobile phones have become a vital part of life today. Mobile phones not only keep you connected, but also contain all the data related to life. With the help of Giridih Police, people who lost their mobile phones a year or months ago are now getting them back.

SP Dr. Vimal Kumar stated that this police campaign has been ongoing for several years. Those whose mobile phones were stolen, lost, or looted are being returned. Several police officers were present at the scene.

Response riders equipped with modern facilities will deal with rioters: SP

The state police have also provided response riders to the Giridih police. On Wednesday, 30 bike response riders were flagged off from the New Collectorate and sent to all four subdivisions of the district. SP Dr. Vimal Kumar, accompanied by DC Ramniwas Yadav, dispatched the 30 police personnel on the bikes. After dispatching the response riders, equipped with special sirens and equipment for appealing to crowds in case of an emergency, the DC stated that each bike is equipped with GPS, ensuring that every movement will be monitored. These response riders will be used for quick response to information, enabling crime control.

Meanwhile, SP Dr. Vimal Kumar stated that the 30 response riders assigned to all four subdivisions will be directly connected to the control room. Along with responding to emergency situations, it will be used to streamline the traffic system if needed. The SP said that keeping in mind all the upcoming festivals, the role of response riders will be used. This will be used to deal with hooligans. Loitering can be controlled and they can be used to deal with anti-social elements.

Sadar SDPO Jitwahan, DSP Neeraj Singh, Kaushar Ali, Dhanjay Ram and many other officers were present on the spot.
