Jharkhand/Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren handed over appointment letters to 160 assistant professors, dentists, and medical officers at an appointment letter distribution ceremony organized by the Department of Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare at the Jharkhand Ministry on Thursday.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister told the newly appointed medical officers that they have chosen the health sector as their career. They will have many opportunities ahead to build a better future. I believe that health is a field where your services are crucial. The vision with which you have entered this field should reflect your compassion for the poor and helpless people here. Furthermore, this compassion must be demonstrated in reality so that the people here can benefit. Chief Minister Soren said that the appointment of medical officers is a major step towards strengthening the state's health infrastructure. I have full confidence that the newly appointed medical officers will strengthen and improve the health system here with their spirit of service. The Chief Minister said that while we have limited resources, there is still a lot to be done within these limited resources; all we need is the passion to do it. The Chief Minister said that patients need as much compassion and service as they need treatment. Through your behavior and influence, you can significantly improve the environment for patients.
The Chief Minister said that new challenges are constantly emerging in the health sector. Research is being conducted continuously to improve the medical field. Doctors play a vital role in this direction. The government has also established a system to strengthen the health infrastructure with your cooperation, so that people can get the resources and facilities for better treatment.
He said that new diseases are emerging today. People are suffering from various ailments. I believe that these problems in the health sector are created by humans. Therefore, we all have to work together to address them.
