Mirzapur: There was a commotion in Shripatti village of Chilh police station area on Tuesday night when suddenly a 15 feet long python entered a house. The family was shocked to see the python in Meva Lal Prajapati's house. As soon as the noise started, panic spread in the whole village and a crowd of villagers gathered in no time.
The villagers immediately informed the police and the forest department. The forest department team along with Dial 112 police reached the spot. Forest inspector Manoj Kumar, Alok Patel, Sanjeev Singh, Sunil Kumar and Virendra Yadav caught the python safely after about half an hour of hard work.
During the rescue, the python suddenly attacked, in which forest worker Virendra Yadav was slightly injured. He was taken to the divisional hospital, Mirzapur for treatment.
Forest Inspector Manoj Kumar said that due to the recent floods in Ganga, this python had drifted to the village. After successful rescue, it was safely left in the forest.
