Politics over urea intensifies in Chhindwara district, Congress' Kisan Bachao Andolan today

Bhopal: The crisis of urea is increasing in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. Farmers are standing in long queues for fertilizers. Politics has now intensified in the state regarding this. Congress' Kisan Bachao Andolan is going to be held today on Wednesday in Jail Garden of Chhindwara. Many big leaders of the party including state president Jitu Patwari, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar and former Chhindwara MP Nakul Nath will be present in this movement. Congress has called it a big show of strength at the state level regarding the problems of farmers and issues related to tribal land.

Kamal Nath tweeted on social media on Wednesday morning saying that Madhya Pradesh is a state of farmers. 70 percent of the state's population is still dependent on agriculture and agriculture related business. But the BJP government is treating the farmers step-motherly. To express the pain of the farmers of the entire state and Chhindwara, the Congress party is organizing a massive farmers' movement in Chhindwara today. The Congress party demands that farmers should not be harassed for urea. Farmers should be provided with proper chemical fertilizers immediately.

The former CM said that according to the promise, the Bharatiya Janata Party should provide the minimum support price of wheat and paddy to the farmers. The government should adopt such a system that the farmers get fertilizers and seeds at the right time. When their crop is ready, it should be purchased smoothly at the minimum support price. The Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme should be implemented properly and the farmers should be given proper compensation for the loss of the crop. The Congress party stands with the farmers at every step and is ready to fight every battle for their justice.
