Chatra:In Chatra district, Naxalites of the banned Naxalite organization CPI Maoist set fire to two vehicles, marking their presence.This incident took place in the Lawalaung police station area. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to the presence of Naxalites. According to the information received, on Wednesday night, a squad of Maoists reached the house of Satan Ganjhu in Lambodih Vishanpur village of Lawalaung police station area and were searching for him. When he was not found, they set fire to the tractor and passenger vehicle parked outside the house. The Naxalites also locked Satan's house. After setting fire, they also raised slogans of CPI Maoist Zindabad and Lal Salaam. The surrounding villagers remained in panic throughout the night due to the incident.
According to the agency sources, the squad of CPI Maoist's top commander Manohar Ganjhu carried out the incident. On Thursday, as soon as the information was received early in the morning, Simaria SDPO Shubham Khandelwal and Lawalaung police reached the spot and inquired about the matter and launched a campaign to arrest the people in the vicinity.
Lawalaung was once considered the stronghold of the Naxalite organization TPC and this block of this organization has also been an impenetrable fort. In such a situation, the organization weakened after police action against many top commanders and patrons. Now the CPI Maoists are trying to spread terror to establish dominance and rule in this area.
Chatra SP Sumit Kumar Agarwal said that an incident of arson has taken place. The entire matter is being investigated.
