Assistant Government Advocate Chavanpal Bhati said that on March 23, 2022, a person named Shailesh, living in the neighborhood of a 16-year-old Dalit girl living in Chotpur Colony of Police Station Sector 63 area, lured her with his words and called her to his house along with her younger sister. The accused made the girl unconscious by giving her intoxicants in a cold drink and raped her. In this case, the police arrested the accused and on July 22, 2022, the police filed a charge sheet against the accused in the court.
He told that the hearing of this case was going on in the court of Additional District Judge Special POCSO (II) Vijay Kumar Himanshu. In this case, the court recorded the statements of lawyers, witnesses, police and doctor of both the sides. The court found the accused guilty. He told that this evening the court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment. A fine of 65 thousand rupees has been imposed on him. In case of not depositing the fine, he will have to undergo additional imprisonment of 3 months.
The Assistant Government Advocate told that in this case the mother of the victim had lodged a report that on March 19, she had gone to New Sai Baba Hospital Agra for the treatment of her husband. On March 25, when she returned to her house in Chotpur Colony, her 16-year-old daughter was found unwell. Blood was flowing from her private parts. On inquiry, the victim told that her tenant Shailesh son Than Singh, age 31 years, raped her on the night of March 23. Accused Shailesh called her to his room along with her sister and offered a cold drink. Both the sisters drank the cold drink. The victim was given more cold drinks which she drank. After that she fell asleep. The accused took off her clothes and raped her. When the victim woke up, she had pain in her stomach and blood was coming out of her private parts. He said that the medical report also confirmed that the victim was raped.
