Students happy with the renaming of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University after Veer Budhu Bhagat

 

Ranchi: The student delegation of the Tribal Students Union met Sudhivya Kumar Sonu, Minister - Urban Development, Higher and Technical Education, Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Government of Jharkhand and congratulated and thanked him for naming Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (Ranchi College) after Amar Shaheed Veer Budhu Bhagat. Regarding this historic decision, the representatives of the student union expressed their happiness by throwing abir-gulal and playing drums in the traditional way in the college campus.

       Student leaders Sanjay Mahli, Dwarika Das (President), Amandeep Munda (Former President, Students Union), Mahavir Oraon, Amrit Munda, Ramdayal Oraon, Kuldeep Sahu, Abhishek Raj, Deepika Kachhap, Daya Ram, Badal Bhokta and others were present on the occasion.
