All hospitals, doctors and medical resources of the state have been put on high alert under Operation Sindoor: Minister Dr. Irfan

 

Ranchi: The Jharkhand government has taken a big step in the situation of increasing tension and firing on the India-Pakistan border. Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari said on Friday that the health department of Jharkhand is fully prepared on a war footing to deal with any emergency. He said that he is a doctor first, then a minister. As a doctor, his first duty is to save people's lives. Therefore, he has decided that if the situation becomes serious, he will himself go to the border and perform his duty, it is his moral and professional responsibility. The minister also said that all hospitals, doctors and medical resources of the state have been put on high alert under Operation Sindoor. All civil surgeons and government doctors have been directed to be available 24×7 at their workplaces. The leaves of all government doctors have been canceled with immediate effect. Along with this, for the first time, the state government has also directed all private hospitals to remain on duty round the clock so that there is no medical vacuum anywhere. Hospitals in the cantonment and border areas of the state have been given a special budget and supply of additional medical staff, equipment and medicines is being ensured. Oxygen, essential medicines and orthopedic facilities have also been specially kept ready.
