Nemra, Ramgarh, October 15, 2026: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren provided financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh for the ear treatment of six-year-old Anup Besra. Under the Chief Minister’s Serious Illness Treatment Scheme, the Ramgarh district administration completed all necessary formalities within 48 hours and handed over the cheque.
Anup is undergoing treatment at Christian Medical College, Vellore. His father, Ramkishun Besra, had requested financial assistance from the Chief Minister due to the high cost of treatment. Acting on the Chief Minister’s instructions, the administration took prompt action to provide relief to the family.
