Ranchi: Ahead of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FJCCI) elections, Team Tulsi Patel organised an introduction meeting at Agrasen Bhawan in Ranchi. Members of affiliated bodies of the Chamber, representatives of various business and religious organisations, along with a large number of traders and Chamber members, attended the programme.
Former Chamber president Manoj Naredi introduced the members of Team Tulsi Patel to those present. Former presidents of the Chamber highlighted the need for strong and active leadership in the organisation and appealed to members to support Team Tulsi Patel.
Former president RK Sarawgi said that people who can devote sufficient time to the Chamber should be elected. He said the government seeks advice from the Chamber, making it important to elect capable and knowledgeable representatives. He described Team Tulsi Patel as a team that has both enthusiasm and experience.
Former president and former MP Mahesh Poddar said Chamber elections are held every year and every president works in the interest of trade and industry. He said problems will continue as long as businesses exist, and these issues need to be resolved through collective efforts.
Former president Arjun Jalan said the Chamber is playing an important role in policy-making. Along with promoting industrial development, there is also a need to protect the interests of traders. He said government departments and officials sometimes issue notices without consulting stakeholders, which should be opposed at the appropriate level. He added that Tulsi Patel has consistently worked in the interest of traders and appealed for support to her team.
Former president Ranjit Tibrewal said representatives who are willing to fight for the interests of traders should be elected. He said the coming period would be challenging for the business community and would require sustained efforts. Describing Team Tulsi Patel as a strong team, he appealed to Chamber members to support it.
The programme was conducted by former Chamber president Praveen Jain Chhabra. Former presidents Ranjit Garodia, Deepak Maru, Dheeraj Taneja, Paresh Gattani, Manoj Choudhary, All India Agarwal Sammelan president Basant Mittal, Ramji Bhai Patel, Sajjan Padia, Nirmal Budhia, Vinod Begani, Vimal Desani, Amarchand Begani, Narayan Maheshwari, Ashok Purohit, Jaidev Dhruv, Chhagan Lal Patel, Kamal Agarwal, Prince Azmani, Rohit Sarawgi and Vishal Padia, among others, were present.
Former presidents Naval Kishore Singh, Hemant Singh, Gagandeep Singh Sethi, Sanjay Mahuri, Madan Prasad, Rakesh Murarka, Abhishek Kedia, Chandrakant Raipat, Bindul Verma, Paramjit Singh Tinku and Rahul Maru, along with several other Chamber members, also attended the meeting.
