Tricolour Hoisted at BJP State Office, Pledge Taken for a Developed India
Ranchi, August 16, 2026: On the occasion of Independence Day, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu hoisted the national flag at the BJP State Office in Ranchi. He later paid tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee by garlanding his statue.
Aditya Sahu said that inspired by the sacrifice of freedom fighters, everyone should pledge to keep national interest paramount and work towards building a strong, prosperous, developed and self-reliant India.
Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi said that strengthening the country’s unity, integrity and democracy is the responsibility of every citizen. State Organisation General Secretary Karmaveer Singh called upon party workers to contribute to public service and nation-building with the spirit of “Nation First.”
Several senior BJP leaders, office-bearers and workers were present at the programme.
