JD Design Award 2026 showcases talent and glamour
Approximately 150 participants showcased creative designs in fashion, interiors, and art
Ranchi, August 8: To provide a platform for young talents making their mark in the fields of fashion and design, the JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Ranchi, organized the JD Design Award 2026 at the Aryabhatta Auditorium. Approximately 150 participants participated in the event, showcasing their talents in the fields of fashion, interior design, and art.
During the event, young fashion designers, interior designers, and artists presented their attractive and innovative designs. The creative presentations showcased a perfect blend of modern thinking, innovation, and art. The auditorium was filled with a fashionable and glam atmosphere. Experts from the design and fashion industry, academics, media representatives, and dignitaries cheered the participants.
JD Institute of Fashion Technology Director Ramesh Dalal praised the participants' creativity. He stated that to advance in the field of fashion and design, it is essential to constantly learn and experiment with new ideas. He encouraged the students to hone their talents and showcase them on larger platforms.
The chief guest inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Following this, the jury members evaluated the participants' creativity, design, presentation, and originality. High-performing participants were honored with awards in various categories, including Best Designer and Miss JD 2026.
WAMS served as the model partner and Lakme Academy as the makeup partner. Their collaboration brought a vibrant display of fashion and glamour to the event.
