Cleavers and knives used again in Jamshedpur; panic grips three areas following a series of attacks
Attacks involving cleavers, knives, and axes reported in Telco, Kadma, and Sonari; three injured, police investigating
Armed attacks have once again sparked panic among the residents of Jamshedpur. Incidents involving assaults with cleavers, knives, and axes have been reported across the Telco, Kadma, and Sonari police station areas. Three people have sustained injuries in these attacks.
According to reports, Congress worker Bholu Chaudhary was attacked with an axe in the Kadma area. Meanwhile, a man named Tunnu Paswan was injured in a knife attack within the Telco police station limits.
Separately, in the Sonari area, Sahil Kumar Verma was subjected to a life-threatening attack with a cleaver by two bike-borne assailants. The injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment with the help of locals.
Upon receiving information about the three incidents, police from the respective stations arrived at the scenes and initiated investigations. The police are working to identify the attackers and are conducting raids to apprehend them. The recurring nature of such incidents has heightened public concern regarding law and order in the city.
