262 Newly Appointed Candidates Receive Appointment Letters; Government Focuses on Strengthening Health Services
Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren distributed appointment letters to 262 candidates selected through the Jharkhand Public Service Commission and the National Health Mission during a program held at the Jharkhand Mantralaya on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is committed to strengthening health services and that large-scale recruitments will continue in the future.
The appointees include 56 Food Safety Officers, 151 Specialist Medical Officers, 29 Senior Hospital Managers, and 26 Finance Managers. Congratulating the newly appointed candidates, the Chief Minister remarked that adequate manpower is essential for the state's overall development and that the government is continuously making appointments across various departments.
The Chief Minister noted that the health sector faces numerous challenges, requiring innovation, efficiency, and a robust healthcare system to tackle them effectively. Referring to the COVID-19 pandemic, he emphasized the need for quick decision-making, better coordination, and the use of modern technology to handle such situations.
He urged the newly appointed officers to discharge their duties with dedication, honesty, and sensitivity so that the general public can receive better and timely health services. The Chief Minister stated that the government's goal is to provide accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare facilities to every citizen of the state.
Health Minister Irfan Ansari, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh, Special Secretary Neha Arora, National Health Mission Mission Director Shashi Prakash Jha, along with several senior officials and the newly appointed candidates, were present at the event.
