Government-CII Deliberations on Investment and Industrial Expansion in Jharkhand
Ranchi: On Tuesday, a delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Jharkhand Chapter, met with Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister's Residential Office located on Kanke Road. During the meeting, discussions were held on various topics concerning investment, industrial development, and the industrial policy within the state.
The delegation that met with the Chief Minister included Dilu Parekh (Chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council), D.B. Sundara Raman (Vice President, Tata Steel Corporate Services), Dev Jyoti (Regional Director, CII Eastern Region), and Prabhat Kumar (Head, CII Jharkhand).
During the meeting, the CII representatives extended their best wishes to the Chief Minister regarding the Jharkhand government's participation in the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, as well as for the success of his recent visit to the United Kingdom. Furthermore, they lauded the strong investment intentions received by the state and the growing confidence of investors.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that Jharkhand is rapidly emerging as a leading state for investment and industrial development. He emphasized that the government is continuously working towards creating a conducive environment for industries and generating new employment opportunities.
On this occasion, the CII representatives expressed their desire to collaborate with the state government to accelerate the pace of industrial development. They also offered their support to act as knowledge and industry partners in the formulation and development of the state's industrial policy.
