BJP Forms Committee to Investigate Chanho Incident; to Visit Crime Scene on May 27

Ranchi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has constituted an inquiry committee regarding an incident in the Chanho police station area of Ranchi, wherein individuals forcibly entered the home of a Hindu family and assaulted them. Formed under the directives of BJP State President Aditya Sahu, this committee will visit the crime scene on May 27 to meet with the victimized family and gather details regarding the entire matter.

The inquiry committee will be led by BJP State Vice President Neelkanth Singh Munda. The committee comprises former State Vice President Aarti Kujur, former MLA Jitu Charan Ram, former State President of the Yuva Morcha Vinay Jaiswal, Ranchi West District President Narendra Singh, and former candidate Sunny Toppo.

According to information released by the BJP, a woman and a child also sustained serious injuries during the incident. The party has alleged that, due to political pressure and appeasement politics, the Chanho police—instead of registering a First Information Report (FIR)—are pressuring the victimized family to reach a compromise.

After inspecting the crime scene, the committee will prepare a detailed inquiry report, which will be submitted to the BJP State President.
