Women's Sports Competition Organized in Lohardaga on April 24–25 under the ASMITA City League
Lohardaga: A district-level ASMITA City League, held under the aegis of 'Khelo India', will be organized on April 24 and 25, 2026. This competition features sports disciplines for girls, including football, cycling, athletics, and kabaddi.
Providing details regarding the event, the District Sports Officer stated that it is mandatory for girls' teams from all schools to submit their application forms to the District Sports Office, Lohardaga, by April 23, 2026, in order to participate in the competition. Participants are required to bring photocopies of their birth certificates, matriculation certificates, or Aadhaar cards.
The schedule for the competition is as follows:
April 24, 2026:
Football Competition – Nadia Hindu High School, Mini Stadium, Lohardaga
Kabaddi Competition – M.M. High School, Lohardaga
April 25, 2026:
Athletics (100m, 200m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put) – Lalit Narayan Stadium, Lohardaga
Road Cycling – Collectorate Ground, Lohardaga (Starting at 6:00 AM)
This competition is being organized for girls across the Under-14, Under-17, and Open categories, with the objective of providing a platform for sporting talent and encouraging female athletes.
