Strict Measures for Voter List Revision; Directive Issued to Affix Stickers on Every House
Ranchi: Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar reviewed the preparations for the intensive revision of the voter list in the Hatia Assembly constituency. He directed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to strictly ensure that stickers containing their contact details are affixed to every house, thereby enabling voters to establish contact with ease.
During the review, emphasis was placed on refining the lists of voters who are absent, have shifted residence, are deceased, or appear as duplicates. Directives were issued to accurately record details regarding families and houses in the BLO registers, and to assign notional numbers to houses that currently lack a specific house number.
In the course of the inspection, several polling stations in Bijulia village were visited, where the progress of the ongoing work was assessed.
