Preparations for Digital Census Intensify: Second Phase of HLO Training Completed in Ranchi

A three-day training program for the second batch of Field Trainers—pertaining to the first phase (HLO) of Census 2027—has concluded in Ranchi. Organized under the directives of the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Principal District Census Officer, this training provided digital instruction to 35 trainers using the CMMS portal and a dedicated mobile application. The program was held at the Collectorate on April 13, 15, and 16. These trained trainers will now proceed to train Enumerators and Supervisors within their respective jurisdictions. Specialized training was imparted regarding 33 specific questions via the HLO mobile application. This initiative is poised to play a pivotal role in ensuring that the census is transparent, accurate, and conducted in a time-bound manner, thereby facilitating the availability of reliable data for development planning.
