Invitation to Attend Gangnarayan Singh's Birth Anniversary Celebration: Bhumij Community Meets with Chief Minister
Ranchi: A delegation from the Bhumij community paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Jharkhand Secretariat. The delegation extended an invitation to the Chief Minister to attend the 236th birth anniversary celebration of the freedom fighter and legendary hero of the Bhumij Rebellion—the brave martyr Veer Shaheed Gangnarayan Singh—as the Chief Guest. The event is scheduled to be held on April 25, 2026, at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur, Jamshedpur. The Chief Minister expressed a positive response to the invitation. Present in the delegation on this occasion were Sanjay Sardar, Himanshu Singh, Radheshyam Bhumij, Ishwar Lal Sardar, Amar Singh Bhumij, and Bhuguray Sardar. Additionally, MLA Sanjeev Sardar was also in attendance.
