High-Level Review of the Excise Constable Exam Paper Leak Scandal
Ranchi, April 16, 2026 : Additional Director General of Police Manoj Kaushik held a review meeting regarding the Jharkhand Excise Constable examination paper leak case at the confidential office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi. This case pertains to Tamar Police Station Case No. 21/26, dated April 12, 2026. Given the gravity of the case, the meeting involved a detailed discussion on the progress of the investigation thus far, the collection of evidence, the involvement of other accused individuals, and the arrests made. The ADG issued necessary directives to ensure that the investigation is expedited and conducted impartially. The meeting was attended by the Senior Superintendent of Police, the Rural SP, the Traffic SP, and all members of the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
