Ranchi Administration on Alert Ahead of Eid, Sarhul, and Ram Navami; DC Holds Review Meeting
Ranchi: A crucial meeting was held on Sunday at the Ranchi Collectorate, presided over by Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri, to ensure the peaceful and secure observance of the upcoming festivals of Eid, Sarhul, and Ram Navami. During the meeting, necessary directives were issued to police and administrative officials. The DC directed officials to maintain special vigilance in sensitive and crowded areas and to ensure the deployment of adequate police forces. Emphasis was placed on strengthening security arrangements along Ram Navami procession routes, at Sarna sites, and at venues designated for Eid prayers. Furthermore, instructions were issued to maintain surveillance through CCTV cameras, drones, and control rooms, and to take strict action against individuals spreading rumors on social media. Emphasis was also laid on ensuring the proper functioning of sanitation, electricity, drinking water, and traffic management systems.
