Hemant Soren Raises Voice for Tribal Rights in Assam, Calls for Change

In the Tinsukia and Sonari assembly constituencies of Assam's Dibrugarh district, Chief Minister Hemant Soren addressed public rallies in support of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidates Mahavir Baske and Baldev Teli. He stated that the tea garden community constitutes the backbone of the state's economy, yet remains deprived of basic rights to this day. Expressing concern over the fact that workers receive a daily wage of merely ₹250, he described this figure as extremely low compared to other states.

Alleging that the tribal community has been exploited and treated merely as a "vote bank," Soren declared that the time for change has now arrived. He asserted that the tribal community is not weak; rather, it possesses the capability to both establish and change governments.

He appealed to the people to unite, struggle for their rights, and ensure the victory of the JMM candidates in the upcoming elections.
