Chief Minister Hemant Soren Inaugurates "Johargram – Made in Jharkhand" Showroom
On Sunday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the "Johargram – Made in Jharkhand" showroom by cutting the ceremonial ribbon near Karam Toli Chowk in Ranchi. This showroom will feature a diverse range of tribal attire for men, women, and children. Various traditional tribal garments—including tribal sarees, T-shirts, and *bandis* (waistcoats)—have been made available for sale here. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is making continuous efforts to promote tribal art, culture, attire, jewelry, and traditional cuisine. He added that the opening of such showrooms would heighten public interest in tribal products and attire, while also providing encouragement to local artisans. During the event, the showroom's proprietor, Ashish Satyavrat Sahu, extended a warm welcome and greeting to the Chief Minister.
