Central Peace Committee Meeting Held Ahead of Ram Navami, Eid, and Sarhul
Ranchi, March 15, 2026 — A meeting of the Central Peace Committee was held in Ranchi on Sunday to ensure that the upcoming festivals of Ram Navami, Eid, and Sarhul are celebrated in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. The meeting was jointly presided over by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate of Ranchi and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi. During the proceedings, the administration appealed to the general public to maintain law and order and to celebrate the festivals with mutual brotherhood. Suggestions and advice were also sought from dignitaries representing various regions and communities across the district who were present at the meeting. While listening to the concerns of all communities, the officials emphasized the importance of celebrating these festivals with joy and enthusiasm. Several administrative and police officials attended the meeting, including the Superintendent of Police (Rural), Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order), and the Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar).
