BJP burns Mamata Banerjee's effigy to protest President's insult
Ranchi: The BJP ST Morcha (ST Morcha) protested by burning effigies of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in various districts across the state to protest the alleged insult to President Draupadi Murmu. At a program held at Firaylal Chowk in Ranchi, BJP ST Morcha National President Samir Oraon said the treatment meted out to the President was extremely shameful and unfortunate. He said it not only insulted the highest constitutional office in the country but also hurt the sentiments of the tribal community. He alleged that despite established protocol, no representative of the state government was present at the International Santhal Conference held in Phansidewa, Siliguri.
