Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha General Secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey lashed out at BJP state president Aditya Sahu, stating that the BJP now perceives the rights of local youth as a "threat." He said that whenever Chief Minister Hemant Soren talks about giving rights to the people of Jharkhand, the BJP becomes restless.
Mr. Pandey said that the BJP is merely a "party of empty promises." The BJP, which reneged on its promise of millions of jobs at the central level, is now troubled by the 75% reservation for locals in the private sector provided by the Jharkhand government. He alleged that the BJP's real agenda is to spread hatred in society, not to provide employment to the youth.
Pandey directly attacked the BJP, saying that the party cannot digest the successful tenure of an Adivasi Chief Minister. He demanded that the BJP president apologize to the youth whose future was sacrificed due to the scams of previous governments. He clarified that the JMM government will ensure that the people of Jharkhand have the first right to the state's resources.
