IAS transfers spark uproar amid elections, BJP files complaint
The BJP approached the State Election Commission regarding the transfer of IAS officers during the civic elections. The memorandum, led by Sudhir Srivastava, alleged that the government had ignored the code of conduct and made the transfers without informing the Commission. The BJP stated that if the transfers had been made after the voting or results, the controversy would not have arisen. The delegation submitted the complete list and demanded action against those who issued the orders. Anil Kumar Singh and Aman Yadav were also present.
